HALE'S PALLADIUM

4301 Leary Way NW, Seattle
The festival's Comedy/Varietè shows are held at Hale's Palladium. With Old-World tenacity, Hale's Palladium rises up every Spring in the warehouse of Hale's Brewery to become a charming 250-seat theater. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the heyday of Comedy/Variète, which grew out of the raucous Music Halls of England, France, and Germany and raged through the early 20th century into the 1940s. In America, it became known as Vaudeville and was immensely popular until TV came into the homes of Americans. At Hale's Palladium, the audience is made to feel at home as they relax, eat and drink together, and become the catalyst for vital, inspiring, and thoroughly enjoyable entertainment of all kinds. (The Comedy/Varietè shows welcome all ages, with the exception of the late night shows, which are 21+.)

This series will be screened at SIFF's state of the art venue, SIFF Cinema, located at McCaw Hall, Seattle Center. There will be a live performance featuring a Moisture Festival artist each evening preceding the film.
